Russ has cut music promos for bands including Easyworld, Porcupine Tree, On the Fiddle, Release the Chains and The O.

 

His documentary experience includes 'Maidens of the Lost Ark' (Ch4 Witness) about an eccentric religious cult in Bedford which was nominated for The Grierson Award (Most Entertaining Documentay), 'Kidnap Cops' (BBC This World) about footballers' mothers being kidnapped in Brazil, and 'Back to Basics' (HBO) a Bill Gates funded film about world health issues. He also worked on the HBO and Ch4 versions of 'Touching the Void'.

 

Dramas/Short Films include 'Ripple' an 20 minute short black comedy for Paul Gowers at Wilder Films (Winner Grand Award New York Festivals 2009, winner Los Angeles Shorts 2008 (best comedy), 2nd place in Turner Classic Movies Shorts 2008, 3rd prize Anchorage International Film festival, various Audience awards and a finalist for Manhattan Shorts 2008). 'Lucky' a short film by Mike Benion starring John Thompson (from Cold Feet) and June Brown (Dot Cotton from Eastenders). 'Human Radio' by Miranda Pennel (winner Best Short Film, Cork International Film Festival, 2002).
